CCDS’s work goes beyond business development to build confidence, raise consciousness, organize communities, and develop leaders within East Boston’s Latinx immigrant community. Our cooperative ecosystem is rooted in values of love, respect, mutual aid, equity, and solidarity—fostering collective healing and transformation. Since our founding, we have prioritized mental and emotional well-being through a dedicated support group that assists individuals, families, and cooperatives facing challenges. In the coming year, we will continue strengthening this group while also addressing generational gaps in understanding gender and inclusive language, which have created divisions. To bridge these gaps, we are exploring a partnership with Loving Future to integrate healing circles into our ecosystem, ensuring deeper connection and unity across generations.
