Brockton Workers Alliance
Every day, new immigrant families arrive in Massachusetts seeking stability, with many settling in Brockton. We have seen a sharp rise in newly arrived workers and families facing housing insecurity, unemployment, and food instability. BWA connects them to in-house programs, referrals, and resources while also providing space to express fear, anger, and resistance. To meet our community’s growing needs, we have begun holding bi-monthly healing sessions where we share food, engage in movement like Zumba and dance, and explore stress-relief practices such as herbal remedies and massage. Guided by solidarity, unity, and respect, we remain committed to building a safe haven where our community can heal and thrive.
