A Stolen Beam: A Conversation on Reparations

Join Us for "A Stolen Beam": A Conversation on Reparations

For 400 years, African-Americans have been systematically deprived of their labor, opportunities, and rights. Do you have the courage to confront this history and reflect on your role in healing?

Through the lens of an ancient rabbinical question, this 7-week course invites personal and spiritual reflection on reparations. How do we make right the stolen labor that built our nation and church?

"What would you do if you discovered that your house was built upon a stolen beam?"

🌍 This course will explore the legacy of African enslavement, global and national reparations precedents, and theological reflections from both Jewish and Christian traditions. It will include contemplative practices and community discernment.
