Families for Justice as Healing
Families for Justice as Healing works to end the incarceration of women and girls, recognizing that trauma and lack of resources in impacted communities hinder progress. We believe that healing must be central to our efforts, as it looks different for each individual, and providing unique tools helps people move forward in their journey. In 2025, we will continue our collaboration with Ebony Lepenn of High Frequency LLC, offering sound healing and distributing over 1,000 healing kits to our community. We will also expand access to sound healing in Roxbury and provide a yearly $500 healing stipend. Our vision includes power building through training other organizations on our "Reimagining Communities" model, integrating healing practices like sound healing into the process.
