Lynn Worker Center

Lynn Worker Center is an immigrant led organization working to support campaigns for worker rights and protections and to support its members. The grant will be used to provide monthly renewal group sessions for immigrant workers, where they can heal through sharing their stories, singing, practicing breathing exercises, reflecting and learning other coping skills to reduce stress and anxiety. Also, this will be a space to show appreciation because of our positive contributions to the U.S. society. Our organizer who has experience in restoration therapy from Guatemala and our director, will facilitate a  space with music as a tool to promote participation and expression of emotions. Providing an opportunity to take a pause will improve the family relations of our members and the community by reducing the levels of stress and anxiety.
